Task

• Produce an effective design for the customized and integrated application to meet the needs of the Training Department providing sufficient detail for the solution to be developed. Justify your design decisions including a discussion of alternative solutions and why these were rejected.
• Carry out a review of the design with at least two other people and annotate the original design identifying improvements that could be made at the development stage.
• Develop the solution and carry out testing to ensure the solution functions correctly and meets the Training Departments’ requirements.
• During development and following testing optimize the solution adding functionality to better meet the Training Department’s needs.

• Overall the evidence will demonstrate that you can evaluate the designs and the optimized solution to meet the company requirements and that you can work professionally and independently. Technical terminology should be correctly and consistently used. The evidence should be easy to read and understand by a third party.
