This unit provides learners with an understanding of the importance of developing a responsible approach to health and safety management within the organisation. Learners will understand responsibilities of the organisation, key groups and individuals, demonstrating the importance of establishing a positive health and safety culture. Learners will demonstrate the importance, and application of the Plan Do Check Act model of health and safety management systems. Upon completion of the unit Learners will understand the importance of profiling risk within the business.
