Assessment Task

For this assessment you will need to submit a written project in the form of either a leaflet or a poster which is equivalent to 2000 words.

• You will need to explain what factors can influence infant feeding and why using relevant evidence.
• You should discuss how the midwife can then support optimal feeding and how this may impact neonatal wellbeing and development.
• There should be a discussion on how the midwife can support maternal and newborn attachment.
• You should also discuss factors that impact the first 1001 days of the life and why. Furthermore, you need to outline what midwifery care is essential to support neonatal wellbeing.
