Unit Aims
This unit aims will enable learners to gain comprehensive understanding about the role of research in solving business problems and develop capabilities to critically evaluate existing body of knowledge to put forward a case for further research.

The purpose of this assignment is to develop a detailed review of literature and prepare a report. The content of the report will be an integral part of your DBA thesis and you have to pass this module before proceeding to the next stage. The report should include the following:

- Develop a problem statement and justify the need for further investigation.
- Critical evaluation of past studies that has examined the organisational problem.
- Discussion of the approach used for undertaking the literature review in terms of the databases consulted, keywords used, criteria used for accepting and rejecting a paper.

- Depiction of potential theoretical solution for the problem.
