You are thinking of investing in the stock market, you know that macroeconomic factors can impact the stock prices and you are particularly interested to find out if there is a significant relationship between stock prices and the interest rate; and stock prices and the exchange rate, so that you can predict the stock prices based on the movements of these macroeconomic variables.
