Assignment Task

Based on the topic of organisational resilience in aviation security management, you are to respond to the following three questions within a 4000-word essay:

1. Evaluate the requirements for integrated organisational resilience across all aviation activity,
2. Critically analyse effectiveness and planning arrangements within existing organisations; and
3. Evaluate and formulate methodologies for improvement and evolution of organisational resilience processes in relation to aviation sectors and influences.

This is based on either your current role or a previous one within an environment with which you are familiar.  Using all course materials, external resources and the various modular activities, this assignment is based on secondary research and therefore, students are not to conduct primary research.

The essay should include the following:

1. Provide an introduction which explains what your assignment will cover and the main areas for discussion and analysis. This must include a background and rationale in addition to an aim and objectives. (This should represent approximately 10% of your word count).
2. Detail on the essay subject, including an assessment of the available literature and supporting published secondary research data which contributes to it.
3. The presentation of assembled evidence and information relating to the subject, constructing a critical evaluation that evidences engagement with a range of perspectives.
4. The formulation of a summary, recommendations and conclusion that demonstrate the synthesis of available information relating to the theme and the workplace (This should represent approximately 10% of your word count)
