Assessment Tasks

Firstly, you must update your portfolio each week throughout the semester. Your portfolio should contain three tasks – Task 1 (anything the lecturers tell you to include), Task 2 (your learning logs based on each week’s learning) and Task 3 (preparation of the final PDP).

Based on your portfolio and PDP please write 1500 (+/-10%) words of reflection on, how this module learning helped you throughout the semester (week 1 to week 12) in your,

i. Professional Development – Choose one topic from those below. Do not discuss all the topics. Analyse and reflect on how learning from this module has developed your professional abilities throughout the semester. Give examples of how you have used / can use the learning from this module. Choose from: assessment of skills (week 1), occupational choices (week 2), CV writing and interview skills (week 5), project management (week 6) negotiation skills (week 7) coaching skills and finding a balance (week 8), problem solving (week 9) and expanding your comfort zone (week 11).

ii. Personal Development – Choose one topic from those below. Do not discuss all the topics. Analyse and reflect on how learning from this module has developed your personal abilities throughout the semester. Give examples of how you have used / can use the learning from this module. Choose from: assessment of skills (week 1), emotional intelligence (week 4) and self-leadership (week 10),

iii. Academic Development – Choose one topic from those below. Do not discuss all the topics. Analyse and reflect on how learning from this module has developed your personal abilities throughout the semester. Give examples of how you have used / can use the learning from this module. Choose from: assessment of skills (week 1), academic writing (week 3) and self-leadership (week 10).

Please note, it is mandatory that you use academic literature to support your reflection. Please use minimum 5 academic references.

Please attach your 11 weeks learning log Week 1-11 (from the portfolio that you have been submitting in Weblearn each week)  and your PDP as an appendix.

General Information

• There is one assignment to complete on this module. This is an individual assessments.
• Each student must only submit using ONLY the Weblearn TurnItin link. Please follow the instructions provided in Weblearn’s “Online Assessment” folder. Your work will NOT be assessed if you failed to submit a copy online before 3pm on 09th July 2025
• Note: Your submissions must contain the full structure provided, i.e. cover page, table of content, references and appendix. And you must use Harvard referencing.
• You will be marked as fail if you have missed the deadline for online submission. NO late submissions are accepted

Your assignment will be scanned by a plagiarism detecting tool (TurnItin). Your assignment must be a piece of personal and genuine work

Assessment criteria

• Comprehension of task and requirements: Looking at how well you cover the assignment task in addressing your professional, personal and academic development. The learning logs are attached.
• Acquisition of knowledge and application: It is visible that the paper is based on the entries in your weekly learning log. Other sources have also been used to support your argument.
• Presentation and Referencing: Looking at the professional presentation by following the structure required, using headings and paragraphs to structure the work, no spelling, grammar and punctuation errors and a clear line of argument. Referencing follows the requirement of Harvard Referencing in text and list.

Specific Instructions
