Part 1 

For the past twenty years, Excel London (Exhibition Centre London) has hosted numerous consumer and trade, private and public, including exhibitions, conferences, concerts, weddings, and religious events. You have been asked to work alongside the Event manager at Excel London to plan for the forthcoming WTM (World Travel Market) global event in November 2022. As part of the process, you will need to produce a pre‐event plan which will

include the key aspects highlighted below:

•  Goal of the event,
• The team,
• Budget,
• Date and Venue,
• Key Partners and Sponsors,
• Marketing strategies
• Health, Safety and Risk

Part 2

In conjunction with this report, the submission will also include an individual reflection and evaluation the main challenges that can be encountered in the life cycle of an event with possible recommendations that can be implemented to maximize attendance, accessibility and customer experience. This can be done in reference to an event attended in person or virtually. Marks will be
awarded for the use of theories, literature, and examples where appropriate to show your sources of research and the bases of your expertise.
